GraceWorks Ministries: 2024 Impact Report Highlights
This past year has been a remarkable one for GraceWorks Ministries, with significant milestones in our programs that serve our neighbors in need. Thanks to the unwavering support of our donors, volunteers, and community partners, we’ve been able to provide vital resources and assistance to families and individuals facing difficult times. Below are some key highlights from our 2024 Impact Report.
A New Chapter of Leadership
This year marked an exciting transition with the introduction of our new CEO. Their leadership has inspired fresh perspectives and new initiatives, allowing us to expand our outreach and improve our services. Their vision for GraceWorks Ministries has been instrumental in driving us forward, ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of our community with compassion and efficiency.
Food Programs: Feeding Our Neighbors
Our food programs have once again proven to be a lifeline for thousands of families. In 2024, we set a new record for food carts in our efforts to combat food insecurity in the community. This achievement is a testament to the power of a united community, and we are grateful for every hand that helped us surpass previous records. Here are more highlights:
- 10,545 grocery carts were distributed, helping families stock their shelves and put meals on the table.
- 1.6 million pounds of food were provided to individuals and families, ensuring they had the nutrition they needed.
- We served over 61,000 snacks and meals to school-age children, helping to keep them nourished and focused during the school year.
- Over 12,000 people received grocery assistance, allowing them to stretch their budgets in times of need.
Impact Story: Amanda, a school counselor, shared how our Fuel Bag program has transformed lives at the Franklin Special School District. - $470,456 was provided in rent and mortgage payments, ensuring that families had a safe place to live.
- $177,445 was allocated to utility payments, keeping the lights on and the heat running for families in need.
- 1,234 families received rent or mortgage assistance, preventing them from losing their homes.
- 1,828 families were given utility support, helping them avoid disconnections during hard times.

Support Programs: Providing Essentials Beyond Food and Shelter
In addition to food and housing assistance, our support programs provide essentials that help families and individuals regain their stability and dignity. From clothing to holiday gifts, we are committed to serving the holistic needs of our community.
- Over $65,000 in thrift store vouchers were provided, allowing families to access clothing and household items at no cost.
- 1,538 children received Christmas gifts through our Manger Program, bringing joy and hope to families during the holiday season.
- Over $10,000 in newborn supplies were given to 34 mothers through the Our Little Angels program, supporting new mothers and their infants with the essentials they need in those crucial early months.
Impact Story: One family’s tragedy became a lasting legacy through their support of GraceWorks’ Manger Program. Their story is a moving example of how, in the midst of personal loss, they chose to help others, providing gifts to children who might not otherwise experience the joy of Christmas.
