Church Partnership Program FAQ
1. How should we handle a person seeking help from our church?
- (615) 794-9055
- graceworkstn.org/services
- 104 Southeast Parkway, Franklin, TN 37064
2. Can church members use GraceWorks services?
Absolutely! Any Neighbor, church member, or church staff member can receive support (as long as they qualify—see question 3).
3. Who qualifies for GraceWorks services?
Here’s a quick guide to who qualifies for our services:
- Food: Anyone
- Rent/Mortgage/Utility Assistance: Williamson County residents
- Support Services: Varies by program. Anyone can contact us for help. We’ll do our best to either help them directly or put them in touch with another organization. We have an extensive referral network and 30 years of experience working with other nonprofits and government agencies.
- Emergency Shelter: GraceWorks doesn’t provide hotel stays but can refer Neighbors to the Williamson County Homeless Alliance (the WCHA only offers emergency shelter in extreme cold or warm weather for the night).
Click the links below for details and forms for each of our assistance programs:
- Food
- Shelter (rent/mortgage/utility assistance)
- Support Services (counseling, clothing vouchers, newborn supplies)
4. When would a Neighbor be turned away from GraceWorks?
We do our best to help every Neighbor, but a Neighbor may be turned away if:
- They don’t meet the qualifications (see question 3).
- They have already received recent support. The limits are:
- Food: once every 30 days
- Rent/Mortgage Assistance: once per year
- Utility Assistance: 3x per year or $500 annually
5. Should our whole benevolence budget go to GraceWorks?
Some church partners do dedicate their full budget to GraceWorks, while others keep a portion for transportation or immediate food needs (e.g., gas cards or nonperishable food) and services GraceWorks doesn’t provide, like housing repairs or shelter support for people who live outside of Williamson County.
