GraceWorks has a new website. And it is real pretty!
All jokes aside, I am particularly proud of how we have redesigned our website with all users in mind, but with special attention turned to our Neighbors. You will see from the cleaner layout, fewer clicks and the very clear language that our goal is to be extremely user-friendly to those seeking our services while at the same time attracting and informing volunteers, donors, shoppers, and the boarder community audience.
Once on our new website, hopefully you will be impressed by how we are intentionally making it easy for you to find whatever you are looking for. The interactive scroll at the top is designed to keep you informed of what is currently going on. Just click anywhere in the graphic and it will take you right to your page of interest. One of the first things on the home page is an interactive question that welcomes you by asking “Can we help with…?” and then presents an interactive list of 6 common things people look for: Assistance, Directions, Volunteering, Donating, Information, and Thrifting. There is even a place on the top right-hand corner of the home page where you can translate the entire site into Spanish!
Written into Goal 3 of our current Strategic Plan is our desire to serve all of our Neighbors with dignity, whether they are seeking to serve or seeking to be served. So, we have provided a shorter and easier to type URL www.graceworkstn.org that quickly takes you to our site. Don’t worry, you can still get there the old-fashioned way, graceworksministries.net, too. Prayerfully this easier access adds dignity to your interactions with us as you look for information on our website on ways to serve, participate, donate or to otherwise engage with us.
Speaking of easy access, we also created a Neighbor subsite so that those seeking help can just type in graceworks.help and be taken directly to the assistance page! We think providing ease of access and navigation to the service portals strongly supports the goal of adding dignity to their overall experience as well.
Next month we will be mailing out postcards with a large QR code that promptly directs you to our website. But you can just hand that to your next door neighbor when it arrives, because my hope is that I have so heightened your excitement and curiosity that as soon as you are done reading this enewsletter you are going to go and peruse the new GraceWorks website.
Thank you as always for your partnership. We want you to be proud of us. As you can see, we don’t want to just serve, but want to serve well!
Your GraceWorks CEO
The new GraceWorks website is great and easy to navigate. I recently signed up to volunteer. It was very easy to do.
