GraceWorks Ministries Federal Funding Update

A Message from Alicia Bell, CEO, and Rodney Chester, Board Chairman, GraceWorks Ministries

At GraceWorks, our mission has always been to provide hope, help, and nourishment to our Neighbors in need—no matter their circumstances. As federal funding and compliance requirements undergo review, we want to reassure our community that we remain unwavering in our commitment to ensuring every Neighbor who is food insecure has access to the food they need.

Food Access Without Fear

GraceWorks participates in the USDA food program and will continue to comply fully with all government requirements. However, it’s important to know that USDA food is completely optional at GraceWorks. Over 90% of the food we distribute through our Grocery Cart program comes from generous community donations and non-federal sources. This means that every Neighbor who comes to GraceWorks can receive food for their family—without fear, without barriers, and without risk.

A Safe Haven for Our Community

We understand that trust is essential. GraceWorks has always been, and will always be, a safe and welcoming place for anyone who needs help. Your privacy matters, and we honor the trust our community has placed in us. No matter what changes come, our promise remains the same: to serve with dignity, compassion, and unwavering support for our Neighbors.

We are closely monitoring these federal changes and will keep our community informed. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you for standing with us to care for those in need—at GraceWorks, no one should have to go hungry.
